Getting Started

Installation

1. Make sure you have registered an account with Aeria Games. If you don't have one, you can click here to register!


2. Now you must download the Luminary Game Client. Please visit the download page and pick one of the mirror sites.


3. Find the Luminary Installer application. It will be in the location where you choose to download it to. Double click on it to begin the installation.


4. Follow the step by step instructions (usually the default settings work best for most users) and you are now able to play Luminary: Rise of the GoonZu!

Accessing the Luminary Game Client

1. Find the shortcut on your desktop and double click on it to open the Luminary Patch Program. This application automatically updates your game client with new information.


2. Once the patcher has completed updating your client, click the blue box with the word "OK" in it to load the game client. Depending on your computer, it could take a few seconds to a few minutes to load.


3. After your client has loaded, log in using your Aeria Games account name and password.


4. Now you must select a server. You are allowed to have multiple characters on different servers; however, you cannot transfer any characters, items, or money between servers.


5. If this is your first time playing, you'll need to create a character. Click on an empty character slot and then click the button at the bottom left which says, "Create" in order to make a character.


6. Click on one of the four character models, then type in the name you wish to use and click "Create."


7. Now, double click on the character you made to log in and start playing!
